The Manor

THE MANOR IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING RESIDENTS WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY HOUSING, HEALTH CARE, SERVICES AND AMENITIES TO SUPPORT AN INDEPENDENT, WORRY-FREE AND FULFILLING RETIREMENT.

In the summer of 1982, a group of friends gathered at their usual ice cream parlor following services at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, SC. On this Sunday, they grieved over saying goodbye to a friend who had just moved to a faraway retirement community.

Facing the uncertainty of their own retirement years, but wanting to remain in the community they loved and called home, they realized the need for a place where they could maintain their independent lifestyle while gaining security and comfort for the future.
