Winthrop Hall

Winthrop Manor is a an assisted living residence in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. Its mission is to address the physical and mental needs of elderly individuals by providing excellent professional and personal care. The facility was built in 1913 as an elementary school and is included on the National Register of Historic Places.

Residential care is administered with respect and dignity for the individual, encouraging the optimal level of independence in a peaceful and home-like environment. There are beautiful landscaped grounds with easy access to Richmond's Byrd Park, Maymont, the Museum District, VCU and downtown Richmond.

Our primary goal is to ensure that our residents and their families or guardians are treated with honesty, integrity and dignity, and to provide them with an affordable home where they are able to live life to their fullest potential. We believe that family and community are an important part of our residents' quality of life, and we strive to provide wellness within these relationships.
