The Laurels of Chatham

The Laurels of Chatham is located in Pittsboro, North Carolina, not far from the route 15 and 64 intersection. Our 140-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center has a multitude of services to fit the needs of the guest. The beautiful setting and home-like environment attracts guests and their families from Sanford, Siler City, Chapel Hill and Western Wake County.

Professionals at The Laurels of Chatham work as a team to promote the highest level of independence and quality of life for our short-term and long-term guests—whatever their needs. That’s because we view each guest as part of a family whose members deserve not only great care, but also compassion, dignity and a sense of purpose.

We have quickly returned many short-term rehab guests home after hospitalizations. Perhaps that’s because our therapists work with each guest’s physician to create a customized care plan. We also are pleased to provide short-term respite and hospice care.

In our fully secured Memory Care Unit, specially trained staff members provide tender care to long-term guests with Alzheimer’s and other cognitive challenges, assuring they enjoy the benefit of comforting and familiar spaces, faces and routines.

And we pull out all the stops to keep life rich and exciting for our other long-term guests. Activities, events, and birthday and holiday celebrations help these members of the Laurel family stay busy and connected with one another.
