Channing House is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the heart of downtown Palo Alto, CA offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing Care.

With the interesting, active people who retire at Channing House, there are always opportunities to try something new. Here, that could mean taking a class, a day trip, or just a solitary hike through the hills.

At Channing House, you can be as active and social as the mood strikes you. Many residents have professional backgrounds in education, medicine, technology, research, fine art, and performing arts. And because residents design and organize events, lectures, concerts, and entertainment, you are assured of finding plenty of intellectual stimulation.

Channing House has many different apartments available and each provides accommodations to your level of living. Channing House is a Life Care Facility. Channing House provides Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing accommodations for its residents. All accommodations are available to Channing House residents when needed.

Channing House residents are active and vibrant members of the community. Many volunteer at various organizations. Some are still employed or consulting. Many travel regularly.

Assisted Living is available to residents that require assistance with daily activities, such as dressing and going to meals. Assisted Living is available on a temporary or permanent basis, as needed.

Skilled Nursing in the Health Care Center is available to residents who need around-the-clock skilled nursing care. Licensed nursing staff are available 24 hours per day.
