Community Description | |
Notre Dame Village is a community of living and learning on the Sisters of Notre Dame campus in western Geauga County, Ohio. The development offers independent and supportive residences for adults. (The head of household must be 65 and an additional household member may be 55+.) Residences include cottage homes, independent living apartments, and memory care assisted living. The development, a Catholic not-for-profit that is open to people of all faiths, welcomed its first residents on August 4, 2018. We are currently accepting applications for all residences. The idyllic charm of Notre Dame Village is captured not only in acres of pastoral landscape but in its architecture and lifestyles as well. From natural serenity to customizable home features, Notre Dame Village has something for everyone. Highlights include locally sourced food and services, intergenerational programs, lifelong learning and spiritual programs. Notre Dame Village is a unique collaboration between two non-profit organizations: the Sisters of Notre Dame, an international congregation of more than two thousand apostolic women religious, and Jennings, who is celebrating 75 years of offering residences and services for adults. |
