Beechwood Manor

We strive to make Beechwood Manor a better place to work and live by empowering the entire staff to perform at their highest level. Our intention is to provide the best possible care to maximize quality of life. We serve each resident with respect and compassion at every level of care, while considering their individuality along with maintaining their dignity.

Activities are provided to maintain social and memory skills. Links to community transportation, doctors, podiatrists, and agencies such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapist skilled nursing, and hospice are also available. To help ensure the happiness of our residents, we have engaged a resident council. Made up of only residents, this council discusses ways to improve life at Beechwood and to keep up with the ongoing and changing needs of our resident population.

Nestled in the heart of St. Clair Shores and neighboring the Grosse Pointe communities, Beechwood Manor is located in a safe, friendly, and cozy neighborhood 1 block away from the “Nautical Mile”.

Beechwood Manor opened its doors in 1986, and has maintained an exceptional reputation within the communities of the east side. The facility consists of 50 independent residences on one level with a beautifully landscaped courtyard. In collaboration and cooperation with the city of St. Clair Shores and the State of Michigan, Beechwood was awarded the highly prized beautification award. We are a State Licensed Assisted Living Facility for seniors age 60+. We are proud to say that Beechwood Manor was completely free of infractions upon completion of the 2012 inspection of our facility by the State of Michigan.
