Provides direct and individual nursing care to assigned residents based on nursing standards and under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care (DRC). Also maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations and the standards of HRA Ensures quality and safe delivery of health services to residents • Implements plan of care formulated by physician and DRC • Provides accurate and timely documentation of care given • Assesses and provides resident and family/care giver informatio ertinent to diagnosis or plan of care • Administers medication per physician orders. Documents properl n MAR. Observes for any adverse reaction and notifies physicia ccordingly • Assembles resident charts, resident records and checks that al ecessary forms are complete and accurate • Prepares incident/accident reports for residents as needed pe olicy. Notifies physician and family post incident/accident pe olicy and documents appropriately • Maintains safe and healthy working environment and uses saf ork methods and procedures in accordance with clinica tandards • Assists resident in learning appropriate self-care activities • Organizes and monitors associates and material resource ecessary for meeting the needs of the residents under his/her care • Recognizes emergencies and life-threatening situations an nitiates appropriate action(s) • Maintains confidentiality and resident rights regarding all residen ersonal information • Performs any other duties requested by supervisor • The ability to work in a safe and alert manner • The ability to take ownership for associate's safety and the safety o he resident • Must disclose any medication that might impair associate's abilit o perform the job safely or competently on-Essential Functions: • Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values through servan eadership • Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy • Attends required community meetings and participates Lif nrichment activities when able • Completes all required courses in adherence with HRA University • Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position o regular, predictable basis • Becomes familiar and understands how to report a missing perso sing the Safe Return program or equivalent • All associates are responsible for maintaining a safe and secur nvironment for all community residents | |
