LivingPath COVID-19 Update

The LivingPath team continues to carefully monitor all developments with respect to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The outbreak has evolved rapidly with governments around the world taking swift action to slow the spread.

Our team is monitoring recommendations from local, state, and federal health authorities and will provide guidance to both consumers and communities. The health and safety of residents and employees at senior living communities is top priority.

We understand that you still might be looking for senior living for yourself or a loved one. Many communities are restricting visitor access at this time. As parts of the country reopen, LivingPath will help schedule in-person visits and tours when possible, subject to local and state health guidance. LivingPath will also be happy to help set up alternatives such as virtual visits or offsite visits to help you learn more about the communities. All of the senior living communities we work with are happy to accommodate the type of visit that works best for you.

LivingPath will continue to help connect job seekers to senior living communities. Many communities are hiring right now as staffing needs are constantly evolving. Can I visit a loved one at a facility? Are there visiting hours?

 

Most communities are currently closed to visitors. However, there are certain exceptions for emergencies and end of life care. LivingPath would not recommend visiting a community at this time without specific consent from the community. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will try and help.

 

How do I get in touch with a loved one at a community?

 

We understand it’s important to communicate with loved ones during this time. Communities we work with are all putting systems in place so residents can communicate virtually with loved ones. Please reach out to the community directly to understand their policy. 

 

Can I send a care package to someone at a facility or drop something off?

 

For the most part, yes. Communities have processes in place to sanitize everything that enters the community, but you most likely can still drop something off outside. Please contact the community directly in advance to inquire about their specific instructions.
